Nail of the week: Embroidery Inspired flower motif

I am having such a difficult time with my camera lately I'm not sure if it's my batteries and I need to get new ones or it's the camera itself that's on it's last legs but I had the hardest time getting good pictures of this week's nail art. Hopefully it's my rechargeable batteries that need to be replaced and not the camera since a new camera isn't really in my budget right now. :) This week I was searching for some new inspiration for nail art online (I am still trying to show that nail art is very much possible if you have short nails) and I came across this embroidery pattern that was originally a motif from India (most likely on a tapestry or sari) and I thought it was so beautiful so I decided to try it. I thought the colors went perfectly with what I was wearing on the rest of my nails which was a beautiful combination of just an ordinary black color and this amazing shimmer topcoat from Pure Ice. The mix of the two colors gives the nails a short of duo chrome multi dimensional look, appearing washed with a blue sheen in some lights and a purple in others. I absolutely love this shimmer topcoat and can't wait to try it out over some of the lighter blues I have in my collection as well. The pure ice line is quite accessible and I purchased it at Target for only $2.99. I hope you like this and thanks for reading! Have a great week! :)
