nail of the week: pink glitter swirl

Sinful Colors "Forget Now"
Wet n Wild "Sparked"

This week's nail art was inspired by another one of my favorite nail vloggers Tartofraises. Here is the link to her channel http://www.youtube.com/user/tartofraises1?feature=results_main. She is French so all her videos on that channel are subtitled but she recently started an English language channel here http://www.youtube.com/user/cutenails?feature=results_main but she does not have all of her videos translated yet so I recommend checking out both channels. However I would say that the majority of her designs are at a more mid level to advanced but she does have a few easier designs like the one I tried this week. It is certainly much more challenging to find a beautiful design for shorter nails but I wanted to show how you can adapt a design like hers for any nail length. It looks complicated but it was actually quite easy to do. I used acrylic paint for the light pink and a pink glitter polish for the swirl that I used a sewing needle to draw on. So just because your nails are short doesn't mean you only have to stick with plain colors and no design. I hope you like this week's nail design and are inspired to try something pretty on your nails.  Thanks for reading! Have a good week! Here is the link to Tartofraises video on this design:
