Nail of the week: Two patterns of one tone flowers

This week I did something a little different. I did three accent nails instead of two, and then I drew the entire pattern with just a simple white acrylic paint. It looks intricate but it was surprisingly fairly easy.

1) Paint nails with your favorite fushcia colored polish. I chose this shimmery color by an Egyptian brand called Pretty Woman. Pretty woman is a fairly common brand here, and is sort of like their version of wet n wild. Inexpensive, readily available, and surprisingly good quality. I purchased this polish for about $1 USD. The packaging is quite cute too with an elegant, long, almost perfume shaped bottle. (the top was cracked because I dropped it :( )This polish was totally opaque in two coats and I will definitely be purchasing again.

2) Using a liner brush and white acrylic paint, made five almond shaped petals in the center of your thumb and ring finger. Leave a little space in the center of the flower.

3) Make two smaller almond shaped leaves on the upper right hand corner and two almond shaped leaves on the bottom left hand corner of your flower.
4) With a small size dotting tool and the same white acrylic paint, make two long tear drop shapes on the upper left hand corner and the bottom right corner of your flower.
5) Using the same dotting tool add a small line of dots on the outer edge of your tear drop shapes
6) with your dotting tool go back and add a small line with the fuscia paint extending from the middle of your flower up the center of your leaf.

For the second leaf pattern:
1) using your small size dotting tool and white acrylic paint make four tiny almond shaped leaves in a semi circle at the bottom right hand corner of your pointer nail leaving a little space in the center like you did with your other leaf pattern.
2) Make the same pattern on the upper left hand corner of your nail
3) Still using your small size dotting tool, make two crisscrossing long tear drop shapes in between the first and second petals of your bottom right hand flower.
4)Make one long tear drop shape in between the second and third petal of your bottom right hand flower.
5) Draw a small line of dots above each of the tear drop shapes.
6) Add topcoat to all your nails and you are finished! Thanks for reading and have a great week!!!
