For this pedicure nail art design I used two colors by Revlon to create a seashell inspired design. One of the colors in particular "sheer rose" is quickly becoming my go to nude color. It is the perfect nude for a french manicure for girls with a more olive complexion like me. To create this look:
1) Paint toenails with two coats of your favorite nude polish
2) choose a dark coral pink and create a side swipe on all the nails. I chose revlon's "tuscan sun"
3) use a detail brush or small size dotting tool dipped in white water based acrylic paint to create the design. Water based acrylic paint can be purchased very inexpensively at Michaels or Joann's craft stores. Detail paint brushes and small size dotting tools can be purchased on ebay but if you do not have one available the tip of a sharpened pencil works just as well.

*tip: to create the clam shell pattern dip brush or dotting tool in paint wetting it completely. Touch the tip of the brush to the nail creating a thick dot with the paint. Without taking the brush off the nail drag it outward forming a pointed tip.
4) seal in your design with a thick coat of topcoat
